Consideration on the worn irregularities following regular wear II is a retrospective self portrait of myself as a teenager wearing my Catholic high school uniform. Using Audacity, an audio editing software, I was able to create glitches in the tartan pattern of my highschool uniform kilt. During the four year period of wearing this uniform, I often attempted to subvert the rules of the dress code through accessorizing my uniform. Each year of my high school career, more and more restrictions were added to the dress code, leaving less room for individuality and personal expression. Consideration on the worn irregularities following regular wear II depicts the feelings of defeat experienced by the high school aged version of myself after over a decade of being disciplined for expressing herself in a manner that does not reflect the values of her school.
